My life is about to be turned upside down…
I have applied and been accepted into HBU and will begin classes this coming Monday.
Major: Christianity
Minor: Biblical Languages
Masters: Theology
They have an accelerated Masters of Theology program that I hope to enter during my senior year that will make some of my courses dual-credit, and in 3 years, I will have both a BA and an MA, with extensive training in the languages under Dr. Jamie Johns, who is a hero of mine.
A wise man told me: There will never be another opportunity like this… to receive this level of training, in the city you live in, and when you are not the lead pastor with those kinds of responsibilities… I think you should take advantage of this opportunity.
Please pray for me. When I was the pastor of Basilica, my schedule allowed for ample time at home in the evenings with my family. Due to my reading/writing/study load, I will have to learn to juggle family, school, and my responsibilities at Kaleo. I know it’s doable, and I am excited, but I still desire any prayer you’d like to offer on my behalf.
